All visitors (apart from tourists) must undergo a blood test for HIV and hepatitis within 10 days of arrival in Iraq.
If only travelling to the Kurdistan region, you can obtain a visa on arrival, but it is not valid elsewhere in Iraq.

Single-entry visa: US$40; multiple-entry visa: US$100.
Validity
Single-entry visa: up to three months; multiple-entry visa: six months to a year.

Allow four to eight weeks for visa processing.
You must be able to provide proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay in Iraq.
